Did they do something with hit validation?
Now, I'm not mad it happened (though it's weird when it happens 3 times in 1 game with my ping being fine) but lately I've seen a lot more instances of hit validation. Especially on Huntress. I try to go for long distance shots and sometimes I hear and even see the hatchet connect but they don't lose a health state.
There have also been some instances on windows where I think I'd get the hit normally but then I don't hit them. I can't recall the devs mentioning anything in that regard though.

Alot of people are having the same issue me included hits not connecting even though it should have even with good ping

I'm not sure what's going on. On one hand I have had a lot of instances where my hits were validated today (to the point where I try not to grab survivors anymore) but on the other I also got a hit on a Claudette that should have never connected.
I had also never seen hatchets being validated before.

Oh I thought I was going crazy. I thought I was going against survivors living inside the servers earlier with how badly I was getting validated.

I was playing mostly nothing but Bubba a week ago and noticed survivors screaming with blood particles when chainsawing them through pallets without them getting downed. That said some of the jinxed chainsaw hits on my end didn't feel too deserved so I wasn't that devastated, but I've never had such happen with any killer when hitting through pallets probably since Dead Hard's hit validation.
Though I'm not sure how it is with other killers in terms of accuracy in this shadow testing phase of hit validation. If only there were a... replay system..

I've noticed it on Bubba too but I seem to remember that this had happened to me before, so that didn't make me too suspicious.
I have also experienced a few more reverse pallet stuns then usual where I ended up on the same side as the survivor.
