Pallet on Hawkins did not give me prompt to drop it

I was being chased by a killer and I went to drop a pallet and it didn't work, so the killer was able to hit me. When I got unhooked I ran to the pallet and that is when I noticed that it did not give me a prompt to throw the pallet down. Here is a video of it.
