Which type of player are you?

Are you more inclined towards being the type of player who equips perks geared towards prolonging your own survival when hunted by the Killer, or do you lean towards perks that enhance teamwork and aid in keeping your fellow survivors alive longer? Or maybe a healthy balance of both?

Moreover, would you consider it a victory if you successfully rescued another survivor from being sacrificed, even at the expense of your own life?

I always use healing speed perks because they are heavily underrated and very overpowered. Having multiple injured survivors is huge pressure and can easily lead to a snowball. But with we’ll make it I can reset the whole team in 32 seconds. I also bring pebble in case it’s a Huntress (which are very rare at my level) just so I can throw a pebble at them after they throw a hatchet at me. I only trade for a survivor in the end game if they looped the killer forever or really knocked out gens. However I do it less and less because how toxic my team mates are tea bagging at the gates and often I’ll try to sandbag them and get them killed. Which sometimes works and is very fun to do lol.

I try to bring a little bit of everything. Most of my builds have an exhaustion, an anti-tunnel, and a heal.

If I rescue a survivor and am sacrificed in turn, it's more of a draw. If I rescue and we both escape, a win, if we both die a clear loss.

    That's my standard Dweet build.

I tend to be more stealthy but productive, I run Lightfooted + Lightweight, Distortion, and Deja Vu. I also equip a toolbox, I'm not great with looping so I'm more of the gen jocky, and the stealth perks all together help keep me hidden so I can continue pressuring the killer.

I run perks to help the team and yes, I consider it a victory to save a teammate at my own expense.

Personally, I have been running a healer build lately.
Botany + Strength in Shadows (for faster self-healing), Calm Spirit + Bite the Bullet (for stealthier healing) - Or swapping Calm Spirit with We'll Make it

I play a Claudette with a stealth kind of build. (You know that build that make you stop doing noises during a chase after your first hit? That one.)

My only regret is that the glorious Blendette days of Claudette are over now.

I tend to do a bit of both

    I run:

    Lightweight

    Leader

    Botaney Knowledge

    Kindred

Depends on the character. Some will have more selfish builds while others have more selfless builds. The we have some that are just odd.

Dying a hero is a bullet point for a victory [unless they were running object, then it becomes a regret]

I just like variety with my perks. I get bored easily. I'm usually doing a daily or tome challenge, so tend to pick perks to help get those done. But I do prefer perks that help the team as a whole. And I'll die to save others no problem. I just had a game where the killer brought Haddonfield offering and steam rolled us at 5 gens. There were two of us left - me on death hook, and other survivor just got first hooked. I unhooked her and dropped my key for her, then I ran off to intercept the incoming killer. She had more of a chance of surviving for hatch play than I did, so I may as well give her every opportunity.

Kindred, Deja Vu, Sprint Burst, Vigil.

Kindred and Deja Vu are just amazing in solo queue, and I feel like playing without an exhaustion perk is detrimental to you so I use Sprint Burst and then add Vigil so I can also use it more often and reach gens faster.

I don't care either, I'll just rush the gen with streetwise, built to last and deja vu
