Slugging - Can we finally fix this situation?

As the title suggests, this is getting out of hand. I played several rounds today, except for the few in the solo queue that I escaped, all of the others were left on the ground bleeding out (myself included) at endgame. This is beyond frustrating and there is zero recourse. If I DC, I get a time penalty (which is another stupid feature). Can we please for the love of God fix the slugging game? If this isn't doable, then can we get rid of the DC penalty? The camping "fix" didn't fix face camping and the slugging "fix" never came. No one wants to be stuck laying on the ground for 10 minutes waiting on the killer to finally end the round.

    The camping fix? You mean the anti FACE camping feature that works just as intended? Slugging is not a problem in of itself, but there 100% needs something done so intentionally slugging 4 people to bleedout out of spite isn't a thing.

    Face camping wasn't fixed….They either A) Proxy camp or B) slug a survivor in the vicinity that pauses your progress. It needs to be re-worked. And the slugging is 10000000% a problem in it of itself. If you are left slugged, you should gain unbreakable at a certain point.

    I’ve seen people on Facebook posting images of them leaving survivors bleeding out just because DS got buffed.

    Some people are trash and this game allows them to be like that

    The last 4 out of 5 games the survivors have been left slugged on the ground to bleed out……This game is trash in it's current build. EITHER GET RID OF THE DC PENALTY OR FIX THE EFFING SLUG FEST

    It is non-stop at this point…..The game is unplayable if I have to wait 10 minutes each round to bleed out.

    (this is a joke, in all seriousness though, i dont think ive ever been slugged for a whole 4 minutes at 5 gens except for once and i just went a made popcorn :) )

    You might want to fact check your sentences.

    A) Proxy camping is not the same as face camping. The Anti Face Camp mechanic stops the killer from FACE camping. It does its job exactly as intended.

    B) It is not possible to be left to bleed out for 10 minutes. The bleed out time is 4 minutes.

    Whatever point you're making, it is grossly undermined when you don't describe the problem accurately.

    Slugging a survivor under hook to allow a camp is a mistake on the survivor part. You should almost always be able to at least trade. If you go down without even getting the unhook off, you blundered hard. The reason it disables the AFC is firstly to prevent exploitation. Any killer who wants to pick up a survivor who has gone down under hook shouldn't be punished for doing so. Secondly its because with 2 survivors remaining standing there is no reason for the killer to leave. The killer has pressure on at least 3 survivors in this scenario, and the purpose of the AFC is not to force the killer to vanish off into the night and let survivors make saves for free.

    Regarding 4 man slugging, being bled out to death out of spite is not fun, everyone has had it happen at least once, however basekit unbreakable was already tested and was absolutely dire for the game. Slugging is not inherently bad. Survivors often linger around for flashlight or pallet saves, or even just dont take the chance to run and try to stick a generator. There are legitimate non troll occassions to slug, and whatever solution you come up with shouldn't punish those occassions.

    Lastly DC penalties must stay. Survivors are already fickle and weak willed enough, and quit for the dumbest reasons. Even just removing the loss of a pip seems to have increased DCs among survivors, which is why we can't have nice things. You remove DC penalties too, this game becomes a bot simulator.

    So all in all, a lot of this is not a great take, and the bits that are worth considering are untenable solutions that cause more problems than they solve.

    Was it actually just because he found it funny or were there no hooks near them? I've also bled out teams before, but only because they weren't any hooks to hook them in this corner xD
