PC Linux - Proton can't run the Epic Games Store version on the SteamOS/Linux

Hello,

I have a Linux PC and own Dead by Daylight on Epic Games Store.

EAC support was added to Valve's Proton but upstream Wine doesn't have such kind of application specific support, so I have no choice but try to run the game with Proton.

I added the Epic Games Launcher to my Steam library as a non-steam game with Proton compatibility and successfully installed the game within that.

I symlinked the EasyAntiCheat folder from the root of the game directory to the Binaries/EGS subdir and use a script to set PROTON_EAC_RUNTIME to the Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime installation when launching the non-steam game shortcut from Steam.

With this, I get an error (15) message along the lines 'can't find DeadByDaylight-EGS-Shipping.exe in the catalogue' after the game has loaded.

I believe both Steam & EGS versions of the game would work with Proton on Linux if the EAC module catalogue handled both versions of the binaries.

So please, fix the Linux EAC module catalogue to handle both version of the main binary, or if that is not possible to have both in the same module, add a new EAC module for the EGS version so that Proton can also get the EGS version accepted by EAC on the Steam Deck.
