I linked my epic and steam account with the game, can i purchase DLCs on both?

I got the game through Epic and i recently discovered the cross progress for the game and linked both my epic and steam accounts to the game and now i can inicialize the game from the steam library (it appears as an external game added to the library) but i was wondering if i could purchase DLCs on steam and they would actually appear on the game or if i have to keep purchasing the DLCs from Epic
