Bloodpoint farming techniques

Forgive me if there has already been a topic on this, or this topic is a useless topic that everyone should know about.

Killers

For killer, play as The Doctor or Legion. They both grant a ton of bloodpoints from their Deviousness category. Also, encourage the lobby to shed bloodpoint offerings, try to get a lobby where everyone has bloody party streamers. Try to use Category offerings as much as you can, and use survivor puddings or BPS. If you do not want to play as Doctor or Legion, play as killers who grant bloodpoints from their add-ons, such as Wraith. The Wraith has an add-on that grants whatever amount of bloodpoints but doesn't hide your terror radius while cloaked. Anyway, here's a build that's solely about getting the most bloodpoints out of your game

-BBQ & Chili (Unlocked from The Cannibal at Level 35)
-Unnerving Presence/Overwhelming Presence (Unlocked from The Trapper at Level 30/Unlocked from The Doctor at Level 30)
-Distressing (Unlocked by Default)
-Hex: Thrill of the Hunt/Beast of Prey (Unlocked by Default/Unlocked from The Huntress at Level 30)
-Bloody Party Streamers, Survivor Pudding or a Mori

If you're trying to achieve a build where you can use meta perks while achieving a ton of bloodpoints,

-Hex: Ruin (unlocked from The Hag at Level 35)
-BBQ & Chili (The Cannibal, 35)
-Hex: Thrill of the Hunt (default)
-Thanatophobia/Sloppy Butcher (The Nurse, 35/Default)
-Bloody Party Streamers or Survivor Pudding

Survivors

Now, for survivors, it's best to use Escape Cakes or any other bloodpoint offerings (people with common sense know this), so, like killer, try to get the other survivors and the killer to use any envelopes or bloody party streamers.

A perk build that is, once again, solely about bloodpoints:

-Prove Thyself (Dwight, 35)
-No One Left Behind (Default)
-We're Gonna Live Forever (David King, 30)
-Borrowed Time/We'll Make It (Bill, 35 on PC/Default on console/Default)
-Envelopes/Escape Cakes/Bloody Party Streamers
-Alex's Toolbox with sabotage add-ons

A meta build that can equally achieve a lot of bloodpoints:

-Self Care (Claudette, 40)
-We're Gonna Live Forever (David, 30)
-Borrowed Time (Bill, 35 on PC/Default on console/Default)
-Adrenaline (Meg, 40)
-Envelopes/Escape Cakes/Bloody Party Streamers
(Adrenaline can be used in a dire situation or can wake you up if you are asleep and facing Freddy. Waking up provides you with 200 extra bloodpoints.)
-Flashlight

MISC. (survivors)

Use items frequently, such as a flashlight or key. Flashlights are useful as you can blind killers as many times as possible, and try to stun killers with pallets. Toolboxes can be used for sabotaging (which grants bloodpoints in the Boldness category) or repairing, but I highly recommend to sabotage as they grant extra bloodpoints, except for when the exit gates are powered. Maps can be used to scout and track items. Make sure to use 'longer duration' add-ons so your map doesn't get wasted. Also, try repairing as much as you can too.

Try escaping as much as possible too, such as unlocking the hatch with a key (you get 4k from opening and escaping with the hatch). For exit gates, try to unlock both. Not only does this provide extra bloodpoints, but it also helps survivors that are being chased to escape easier.

Hiding in the killer's terror radius (in a locker or out of sight) grants bloodpoints in the Boldness category, so that's also helpful. Try to be kind to other survivors by healing them after unhooking them, instead of running away in fear, or repairing with other survivors.

Another tip (for survivors) is to cleanse totems. Cleansing dull totems result in 600 bloodpoints, and cleansing a Hex totem results in 1k, and searching chests. Be careful to not end the action mid-search, as it causes a notification and informs the killer on your location.

Anyway, those are some bloodpoint tips I had. This is VERY useful during events, such as a double bloodpoint event. This could be a small 'guide' for newer players that recently got the game and joined the forums, so this thread isn't really a waste of typing. Don't be like "we know what to do already, thanks", or reply in any hateful manner. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Anyway, thank you and have fun playing! :)

As killer I don't think you should run both Beast of Prey and TOTH together since they both work on the same category. Pick one or the other and then take something like Unnerving to go with Distressing.

You forgot to list it as TOTH/BoP. It almost doesn't matter which you pick, though I think BoP is a better choice because it's a flat rate all the time, whereas TOTH can vary based on how many totems are on the map.

True.. I'll list it as suggested.

    If this is intended for new players, I'd write out the names of the perks (;

I really like to run ''Stake Out'' for points because you get 150 for Great Skill Checks and that perk gives you Greats for every Token you have. It helps me get Greats normally too because I want to get that Great without using a token it's also great at teaching.

You should or can use Detective's Hunch with Maps because it's easier to track Objectives with it.

I barely use DH anymore. Usually, I can track the objectives on my own/I'm stealthy enough to find other items by myself. Stake Out is a perk I consistently use in my builds as it can counter Ruin and as you said, it helps and teaches me to get Greats without using the perk to consume a token. I usually get my 4 tokens and 'save' them when I need it, for example, when I'm at least 75% on the last gen, I can use my tokens to complete the rest of the generator.

I'm not the only one who does that, awesome. I don't usually see people run Stake Out in my games so it's cool other people use it for those reasons.

Lol. The thing is if everyone's running PT, is one survivor randomly chosen and is awarded the 10% repair speed and extra bloodpoints? Like DS?

For the extra bp probably it just exists like an always active buff

I've just started this game and when I'm looking for blood point farm builds it's all get these 5 killers to 35 to use their perks. No one addresses how to farm the points to get these killers to 35 to get these perks. Is there a build or am I looking at 100 matches at 25k blood points per killer? Regardless of build. Yeah a full load out is always great but is there a way to grind less?
