Revert Chucky Changes from 8.0.0 PTB
Chucky doesn't need any nerfs to his scamper or a buff to his slice n dice, its already impossible to chain scamper and get a hit with the easy run back counter play, and slice n dice is a high speed attack from stealth with a balanced and fair cooldown for missing. Pls BHVR do not touch his basekit, maybe do an add on pass but do not touch his basekit, its great the way it is.

Go through with changes but bring back the 180* Chucky flicks and various techs his power had.
Scamper was a boring part of his power anyways, youd just keep going under pallets until you got a hit or zone the Survivor in a way that gets a hit, little to no effort or interaction was involved.
Instead, bringing back the fun aspects of his power would make him more enjoyable for both sides, and reward people for making skillful plays and trying out new things.

Its main purpose is to confuse survivors, the slice n dice is fine

Scamper is uncounterable and gives chucky free hits on every basic loop in the game. On larger loops you need slice and dice but its still a hit you dont really deserve (coming from a former chucky main)

No, thats not fun, was platform reliant and scampering is his anti loop. He still makes audible noise and its quite lengthy to scamper. Hes balanced, and should not be touched

Except it is not balanced.
It takes 1.4 seconds to Scamper under a pallet as Chucky; a Survivor fast-vaulting a pallet takes 1.1 seconds.
There is a 0.3 second difference, but Chucky moves fast enough to easily make back that distance on most loops (which is made even easier with certain perks and addons), leading to unavoidable hits.

No, guranteed hits should never be a thing in this game.

Weak pallets are weak pallets man. Theres no excuse as to why u shouldn't make it back to the pallet in a loop longer than 15m. Scampering is also AUDIBLE and LENGTHY, lots of anticipated time to leave or go the next side

They're not garunteed 💀

you don't know anything about Chucky 💀 Typical core players never using their brains

Well this is coming from someone who actively mains him and actually studied his machanics, scamper does not give free hits. Idk why you all keep saying that it takes so long to scamper and survivors know your doing it. Slice n dicing is a very limited version of blights power and its only available every 18 seconds after use, SUPER BALANCED POWER.

I main chucky and whilst i love the way he has been since release and i find scamper fun to use. I think the justification for changing it is completely fair. It's true that it can lead to unavoidable hits.
I think he is stronger on PTB anyway. Losing scamper at pallets but keeping it at windows and having a 33% faster power cooldown is a positive trade i believe.1 -
This rework is giving him slice n dice every 10 seconds, honestly sounds way more unfair imo. Also scampering doesn't give free hits

Well regarding the slice and dice cooldown, i've had the same concerns but at the same time it could be fine once survivors adjust to it. Like the hillbilly changes.
Scamper does give free hits… even the devs agreed that it does, so this is a weird hill to die on. There's plenty of pallets in the game where if you drop it and chucky immediately scampers it, there's no opportunity to avoid the attack. Because lots of pallets are not chained to another window or pallet close enough.1 -
Scampering if it happens to give an m1 makes your power go on cooldown. Its very balanced and again, shouldn't be nerfed or buffed hes fair to play against now

Killers shouldn't get a hit just because their power is off cooldown. That isn't healthy for the game, the survivor has no chance for counterplay and it's very reliable for the killer to do. That's why replacing it with slice and dice attacks makes more sense because the killer has a chance to miss those and there's things survivors can to do avoid it.
