Huntress Lullaby Buff
A general idea to Buff what is debatably the worst Hex perk in the game.
Basically when the totem is cleansed instead of removing the affects of the perk have it only removes its ability to gain more tokens. So if the totem is cleansed at 3 tokens the regression and change in timing of the sound and skill check would remain but it wouldnt be able to be increased beynd that point.
As far as I can think of it wouldnt make the perk to unbalanced as I think it would still be outclassed by other regression perks and in order to get proper value out it you'd still need to get roughly half way through the game and get it to 5 tokens. Which in my experience doesnt happen to often unless you're up against new survs who don't know where to look for totems.

Nah, that would be too good and it would make funny-hardskillchecks go BUM build into annoying meta quickly.
Its not that that perk is weak because it can be good when you have build around it and you get at least 4 tokens because you force Survivors to focus and pay less attention around themselfs and that extra regression penalty is good.
Problem is, its Hex perk. Unless it has some extra survival ability or utility (like Face The Darkness or Play Thing, Pentimento, Noed), its destined to be RNG and not rly worth running. And you can't efford to run half the perks just for Hex to survive when you need other skillcheck oriented perks to make it worth.
Hexes in general need a bit of extra survival ability to make them worth while.

What???
Huntress Lullaby is the best perk in the game. I run it on all my killers and it literally wins games for me.
Jokes aside, its one of the biggest meme perks in the game.
Sadly its also in a really bad spot balance wise because its a noob stomper. Better survivors have no problems hitting the skill checks and newer survivors cant finish gens at all when lullaby is active.
The perk needs a rework.

Each token makes skill checks appear 10%more often remove the token limit.
This hex becomes active after it gains 1 token

Bad idea. You can't buff Huntress Lullaby. It's a perk that has no effect against good survivors but absolutely wipes the floor with less experienced survivors. Buffing it would only make this issue worse.
Huntress Lullaby needs rework and that's coming from someone who uses it regularly.

The only thing I ask is it doesn't reveal to the survivor's it's active until 1 hook so they don't see the hex notification off the bat.

It needs a full rework. Doctor and Noob survivors are the only reason this perk will never get the buffs that it desperately needs. To actually do anything against good survivors you would have to speed the skill check rotation speed by 15% per token, decrease the skill check zone by 15% per token, on top of what it does already.
There is literally zero reason it should have the same requirements as Devour Hope which is better in every way. Devour Hope even does slowdown better because when DH is revealed all the survivors try to find it instead of working on gens.

Unnecessary. It's an incredibly strong perk so long as it's standing. Like all Hex Totems, it must be defended.
This post is basically admitting that it's so strong, you are wanting to keep some of its benefits after it's gone.
No. When a Hex is gone, it's gone.

You think it’s strong?! What makes you say that? It’s one of the only perks I see almost unanimously agreed on to being awful.

Very surprised it didn't get reworked in the huge perk mix up a while ago I guess they don't want huntress to have any good perks

The rework i would do for huntress lullaby is the same rework i would do for every hex perk.
In general, i think hex perks are generally not worth it to bring. They are too high risk for too low reward. They used to be high reward, but BHVR realized that on the flip side of it, if the perks are strong (I.E. worth the hex) and then survivors can't find the hex, then its a problem, especially for newer players.
On the flip side, hexes can be cleansed almost immediately by pure RNG, so the risk for them needs to be worth it, but in order for them to be worth it, they must be set up in a way where you MUST cleanse them, or you'll probably lose. Which cycles back to the new player problem.
To deal with this, i would change hexes in general to work like this:
When a Hex totem is play, all dull totems become hex totems. Every time a hex totem is cleansed, the hex is weakened. If all hexes are removed, the hex is removed from the game.
This would basically be. Hex totems make all totems Hexes, and the power of the totem is based on the hex. So for example:
Hex ruin: Causes generators not being worked on to regress:
- 5 totems: 250% regression
- 4 totems: 220% regression
- 3 totems: 185% regression
- 2 totems: 145% regression
- 1 totem : 100% regression
Hex Devour Hope:
- Every totem cleansed reduces the tokens the killer has by 2.
In the case of huntress lullaby. I would do this:
Hex Huntress Lullaby reduces the warning you get for skill checks.
- 5 totems: no warning
- 4 totems: 80% reduced warning
- 3 totems: 60% reduced warning
- 2 totems: 40% reduced warning
- 1 totem : 20% reduced warning
This would make it far more usable without destroying low level players (because you should be able to easily find 2-3 totems relatively quickly.

Yes, it's very strong. If I get the notification the Killer has it then I immidetley stop doing gens to find it.

yeah thats why despite my loving the perk i dont wanna give it to much of a buff, since the people who dont know how to get rid of it get hurt by it the most, its fun on oni for me because it lets me have info easier to dash across the map at, but generally its either destroyed before getting to three tokens or its never touched and they survs get stuck at 2 gens

yeah as a huntress main, it makes me sad that her perks are more or less the worst in the game, i dont think i've ever actually seen territorial imperative activate in a game, although ig it might have some activation if youre being boring and basement camping

That’s crazy to me lol, I always completely ignore it. And what’s funny to me is that it’s 3rd and 4th token are better than its 5th token imo

It's impossible for me and a lot of people. I've placed it on Freddy a few times. Once I had a team all want to give up, pointing at hooks for me to kill them. I led them to the Hex so they could break it. I can't hit a skillcheck with that perk myself. I can't focus. If the Killer brought Pentimento, that's too bad because I'm getting rid of Huntress Lullaby no matter what.

Seems like they should just rework it entirely tbh. I don’t know anybody who likes it. Killers don’t like it (except Doctor) and survivors don’t like it

But don’t worry! They reduced Territorial Imperatives cooldown! Lol. Very terrible perks, they all need changes.

I like it. It works great with Pentimento.

Its generally a fun perk. I run it, whenever I have an open perk slot. I know its useless, but thats why I love it so much.
