Dedicated server not responding

I am up to a 15 minute DC penalty because I’ve been trying to play the Chaos mode game but it repeatedly crashes in the middle of the match and shows all five players disconnected on the score screen, with a pop up message ‘dedicated server not responding’.


I don’t think there should be a penalty for a server-side failure.

    Their system doesn't differentiate between connection issues or players manually leaving, and applies the penalties the same. Otherwise it would be open to abuse with players pulling their own plug for instance.

    Most of the time I haven't been getting a penalty when I receive that particular error message, but it has happened.

    Same here. I was kicked 3 times yesterday with the same error message "Dedicated server is not responding, disconnecting". I get no bloodpoints, I lose my offerings, and I get a matchmaking penalty. This is ridiculous. I don't even want to play the game now. Why bother if it's just going to keep kicking me?!
