Better Than New Buff

Patients leave your care reinvigorated.
Upon completing a Healing action on another Survivor they benefit from the following effect until the next time they are unhooked: Unlocking, Cleansing, and Blessing by 12/14/16%. An additional 15 seconds is added to their hook state.

Changed the damage caveat to an unhooked one and added 15s to their next hook state. Thematically it works with being better than new. The buffs it gives otherwise are understandably tepid and probably dangerous to mess with, but I can see this having some use.

I like this buff... not broken or obnoxious, actually a unique effect that is far more interesting than most healing perk buff suggestions...

The only issue is that this would mean both Reassurance and Better Than New would be the 2 anti camp perks... and both of them would be on Rebecca... 😅

I'd be tempted to pirate this idea and apply it to Empathetic Connection on Yoichi.

However regardless, the losing health state effect on BTN restriction is silly, hooks is far more reasonable for a rather benign effect. There is a part of wondering if you even need to remove it at all... it's 16%, so saves 2.2s on a 16s heal, and 3.3s on a 24s self heal.

Wouldn't exactly be meta defining even if it was a buff you could permanently apply for the rest of the trial...

I would allocate that buff to survivors those completing gens rather than to healing. This would encourage survivors to take the task of completing gens more seriously.

And I don't want add effects to cleansing and blessing. Only hook-related modifications to unhooking and hook state progression are sufficient.

I do like this a lot, it tackles one of the main issues with tunneling making it less appealing even if by a little. Hook timers are a part of this game which is constantly overlooked.

That really doesn't make any sense within context of the perk. Maybe another perk.

The blessing and cleansing thing is just such a nonissue. You have to get healed, with a boon equipped and you have to have some totem perk equipped to get value out of it. It's so unlikely that when it does happen you deserve the extra bit of speed.

There is also no correlation between healing and totems. The boons are there to gain haste too. Either way, totems have proven irrelevant.
