More than likely they've failed certification, hence the two to three week time estimate.

They said back on the 8th on twitter that it would only take a couple weeks..here we are 10 days in and nothing :/ its saddening and heartbreaking lol..I pretty much gave up every game I had because I fell so in love with this game..lol Wasn't until about 10 days ago I found my lost love BO3  bahahahahaha

To be fair they did say just “weeks”. Which could be two weeks, could be eleven weeks. I always assume the worst with BHVR.

I find it amusing how DbD has content updates that somehow take longer than the 10 day certification process and these developers fail to deliver on their simultaneous release promise yet a game with a much lower budget and playerbase and a less experienced team aka F13 The Game nailed every single one of its patches in a timely manner and everyone received it at the same time.
in a way BHVR you’re worse devs than F13’s. They didn’t willingly ######### their console users and in the process cause huge queue times because console players are fed the ######### up.
its taking me ten minutes to find a match atm, you’re arseholes. ######### your game, I’m buying ESO Plus with the £30 I saved for the chapter and cells.

As I’ve said certification should take 10 days in a worst case scenario. That’s the longest time for a patch to be certified, the only way it takes longer is if the platform decides to reject it.
if the patch doesn’t hit st midnight, tonight with the content available on stores at midnight as is usually the case with this game they’re lying through their teeth and either didn’t submit it when they said they did or it’s been rejected.
if it isn’t live tonight and they keep trying to blame Sony and MS I see things going south for them fast, MS and Sony already responded saying it’s not their fault, it’s the developers as they have one day certification which they chose not to use due to an extra upfront cost

Yeah, that’s the reason so many people are upset

And I think it's a very vaild reason to be upset. It just sucks..because not only do we gotta wait but we also gotta sit on maxed out shards because it's been shut off for 6 days lol. I mean idk it's petty reasons to be upset but I think they are vaild. And I think people keep asking because they truly want to know..

Like did they send it when they said they did..are they even getting updates on if stuff needs fixed..we're left in the dark.

Really? Ive been able to buy all four perks in the shrine for 800K. Did the last one yeaterday

    Probably won't happen.

Large patches get released in the early morning hours followed by the DLC in the store whenever it updates depending on your country.

We’re still in the certification process.

There's another explanation, Microsoft and Sony are taking longer due to perhaps an update on their side. As someone who sued to work in high tech and dealt with certification the posts like this are astounding. You so called experts haven't got the slightest idea what is going on or why it might take longer.

Also don't forget that each country has different laws and such that they have to deal with. Think China and the EU or any other countries that have much stricter controls.

I’ve worked in the QA department for companies, patches take 10 days at max, no longer, ever.

Well lets not forget the code is spaghetti atm and they've talked about reworking it. also after all the privacy and other stuff going on MS and Sony are probably being extra diligent to deal with all the new rules and regulations. While they probably get rejected 1st time around that's pretty standard for most of what gets sent to them now by everyone.

They've been burned too often by poorly vetted stuff long before DBD came out. Ahem Blizzard/EA/Activision to name a few.

Wouldn't be a problem had the devs just gave us more information other than "it's still in certification". You do understand that they can ask Sony on the progress of it and relay that information instead of giving rubbish excuses right?

I mean they don't have to tell everyone everything. They are like any other company. If they want to keep things under wraps than they can.

I wonder how many people in this thread hating on BHVR will throw money at them as soon as the dlc releases? Probably most. As a consumer speak with your wallet it's truly the only thing business understands.

Certfification has nothing todo with in game bugs. It's there to ensure it doesn't interfere with psn/XBLive services.
