Black Shirt for Claudette
Black Jeans for ClaudetteWill pair them with P3 head, finally I can ditch the P3 set and still be hard AF to see in tall grass or bushes
Really surprised they added a full set of black clothing for Claudette tbh.Aluminium Baseball Bat for Doctor
"Glowing Red Eyes" head for Doctor
Red and Black Dapper Suit again for DoctorI've waited ages to finally be able to get rid of that UGLY stick of his that has the electirc decal on it which impacts FPS too.
I just hope the baseball bat doesn't have the electric effect on it.All of this is available by shards too which is how I'll be getting it, buying the Curtain Call DLC because of how cheap the chapters are for DBD which is around £6 here in the UK (England).

Given the track record of the devs screwing things up, especially around bugs (unhook lag, multiple sound bugs, etc.) I wouldn't be surprised if theya.) send in an old patch and didn't notice it for days
b.) made several completely obvious bugs that would break PSN/XBL, thus having to resend multiple patches
c.) completely forgot to even send in a patch which they only noticed several days laterThis whole situation would be more forgivable if this was the first patch they release on console. But it is not. They know the drill, so they could have planned ahead and found a solution that made everyone happy but the way it is now, they simply pissed off a lot of their customers with their incompetence and destroyed the trust many had in their roadmap.
At this point, I'm not even mad anymore. We all were foolish for thinking that Behaviour would be able to keep their promise of "almost simultaneous" release of patches. We should have expected for them to fail, for they are Behaviour and are bound to make the most obvious mistakes. They should be glad that their game is niche enough that there are not many more competent developers competeing with them, while simulteneous being broad enough to gather a rather big fan base.
Man you guys are so toxic, thats incredible. Do you really think a Software/Game-Developer is that dumb?
not_Queen already said that the certification process could be longer because of the new store and the payment data Sony/MS "owns" so they have an interessest to Test/Certificate that. That needs time, Companies are working slow. For me BHVR had 3 options:
1) send Update to Sony/MS before PTB on PC Starts, to release simultaniously. You guys problably would go cracy because the bugs found in PTB would be in Console-Version for 1-2 Weeks
2) hold PC update back untill Consoles are ready. Oh god you guys totally go crazy
3) Do it like they did.So for me, they just did one thing some of you hate them for, but they never could do it good for all.
Then please tell me why they couldn't send in the PTB build when the PTB launched and then hotfix the bugs right after the dlc launched? Freddy came with the unnerfed version which was almost immediately patched out with the nerfed version on console. If they could have done it back then, they could have done it now.
Because PTB stuff is only suppored by steam (thats the reason PTB is PC only btw)
They cant just send an unfinished patch to sony and say, hey guys check this one please, but we will change it in a week or two again, but please take a look now so that it doesnt take so long laterCant compair with freddy patch because there was no payment stuff involved

I'm all for being understanding and patient. But what is going on? It's been almost 2 weeks since they mentioned they sent in for cert. Why is this taking so long? It doesn't really make much sense at this point since God of War was shitting out updates everyday for 2 weeks. Obviously low budget vs high budget game. But come on, there is no way it's taking this long.1

Developers can not ask Sony and Xbox about the approximate date of certification? Why deceive your fans?
It's time to release updates at one time on all platforms. If the certification is so long on the consoles. Let's then start from the consoles! Frost the output of the chapters with updates on the PC before you can release them simultaneously on all platforms. They did that with pig and then console players accidently were able to play the patch before the release date.
By choosing to play on the conform platform, you have to deal with the limitations there, or do you cry that you dont get high FPS?0 -

The differences between the platforms are minimal.
After such a failed start of the chapter on the consoles, long waiting for users. From the developers it would be right to distribute to all the consolers one donat costume for their long wait.

FYI Just went into the DBD channel on Twitch and typed in "!stream" it says 1 week and "x" hours so no Dev stream this week.
Just incase anyone was planning on getting out their pitchfork and torch during the stream0 -
Yeah sadly it's just a pointless pre-recorded Q&A this week.
0 -
It's not pointless if they're giving us information about the game and upcoming changes they plan on testing...
1 -
Oh man I bet I know what they'll say about the console update.
"We'll announce more info soon!"
3 -
It sucks not knowing when its coming out..hell if it will even come out this month but i guess all in all we will get it sometime..LOL we may get it when we're supposed to get the next killer/survivor who knows..the thing that sucks for me is the fact that Ive bought all the perks outta the shrine..so being capped at 1000 i dont wanna play anymore lmfao

What was unfinished about the PTB patch? The clown was in and functioned like he does now, the shop was in and functioned like it does now. The only big change that I can see is that they didn't include the hatch mechanic (which shouldn't be so hard to extract that from the PTB Patch and put it in) and that they changed out the voice actor of Kate. Apart from that there were only numerical changes regarding the powers of the clown as well as some bugs. All stuff that they could and should hotfix anyway if they would put that live.
Also, Sony and MS don't care if the patch has bugs regarding the game. Their only concern is that there are no bugs or exploits that could hurt the PSN/Xbox Live.
So yeah, they could have done it but they just didn't plan ahead or just didn't care. Either way, this whole thing doesn't put them in a good light.

Have you ever tried the PTB patch? There was countless bugs, missing textures on the map, sometimes the shack invisible etc etc.
Why do you think they have a PTB? yes for TESTING purposes, otherwise they could instantly release it as live build0 -
Because of this attitude to users on consoles, I just will not donatit in this game. Although when there was an announcement, I was burning with a great desire to buy all things.

But those could get hotfixed right away. The console certification proccess is not for ensuring that there are no ingame bugs, otherwise we wouldn't have gotten things like the glorious unhook lag bug. So again, the could have easily submitted the PTB build, get it certified and then hotfix the bugs.
All of this comes down to planning and possibly money (the certification is not free). And the people wouldn't be that outraged if they hadn't promised us almost simultaneous releases of new dlc and manage to ######### that up with the first dlc they release now that they are publisher free. Really makes them look trustworthy, right? I mean don't promise something you can obviously not keep.

Yes as you said, on console you do not easily iterate patches on a daily basis (money+time), so you basically answered your own question^^

I guarantee you, when the patch drops there will be game breaking bugs regardless of when they would submit the patch (remember unhook lag? Really hard to replicate bug, they couldn't have found that in a million years before the patch went live!). My point stands: Behaviour could have done this better, but they simply don't care and now try to point at Sony and Microsoft to hide their laziness.
