Anniversary Offerings - survivors

I am writing this under the assumption that during this year's Anniversary event, we will once again have bloodwebs with special things in them. For killers, that's just the offering (I'll call it "cake"), and for survivors, it's the cake and items (like medkit).

I would like to ask you to just give survivors the cakes, and drop the items. Or make the frequency of the items much less than the previous years. This event is very exciting, because we can pile up a LOT of cakes, which we can use all year long. But sadly, the previous years, getting cakes on survivors was tough. Mainly because of those items getting in the way.

Honestly, an anniversary medkit is just a regular yellow medkit. Or in terms of self-heal, it's just a glorified brown medkit. Same function as normal medkits that appear in bloodwebs. Honestly, who really wants that? We want CAKES. Things we can use during the anniversary event, AND all year long.

Please, for the love of god, give us just cakes, and drop the items. We love bloodpoints. We love getting characters to Prestige 100. It's unfair that killer characters can get cakes effortlessly, but survivor characters struggle a lot. I play both roles, and I have felt this difference considerably. I would always be able to pile up cakes on killers fast, but on survivors, it took "ages".

TL;DR - please increase the frequency of anniversary cakes in survivors bloodwebs, or just drop the anniversary items altogether. We want BP offerings, not glorified regular items.

(in case you disagree, feel free to share your point of view, too)

Feel like last year, it was easy to get cakes on survivor. Especially when u get so many bloodpoints in 1 match. I still have over 1k cakes on my gabriel, but that's because I actually did p100 in one go during anniversary (never doing that again).

Really? Hmm, interesting. I remember being frustrated with medkits etc. getting in the way. I'm pretty sure that I would get much more on killer in a single prestige.

Also off-topic, but seeing Gabriel profile picture always brings a smile to my face. He's such a good boy :)

    it’s me, I want items!

I don’t even care that much about BP offerings, those will just result in having to spend more time in the bloodweb, having to buy map addons and stuff that pile up and never get used.

Items at least give something you can use in-game

Thank you for sharing your opinion! I guess I got a bit ahead of myself, and assumed most people just want cakes.

In that case, I wonder if it would able to implement a setting which allows us to choose what (in terms of anniversary stuff) we want in bloodwebs. I would personally choose all cakes, while someone else (like yourself) could choose just items, or mixed. I would love that. 😀

But many also value the items. I'm still burning through last years Terrormisu's, but I'm virtually out of anniversary medkits and toolboxes.

on the other hand, I would actually welcome a complete survivor item rework, so that it’s not different rarities but just one base item (and addons stay with rarities the same) and stuff like anniversary items would now be skins you unlock for these items!

They are essentially already skins but I never/rarely use them because my brain doesn’t want to lose something I can’t get back
