Im worried when perks that rewards killers for not tunneling gets a massive nerf.

Nerfing the perks that rewards hooking, leaving hooks, kicking gens and hooking different survivors?

Deadlock = A total of 20 secs less gen blocking.

Pain Res = A total of 20 secs less gen regression.

Grim Embrace = A total of 8 secs less gen blocking.

Pop = Lost 1/3 of its power.

Im starting to be worried when perks that rewards killers for not tunneling gets such a massive nerf.

I dont understand the thought behind this.

The community have been screaming for a fix to the tunneling problem, and the response is to nerf the perks that rewards not tunneling?? - i really fear that if anything, this will stress more killers into tunneling.

The second thing the community have been screaming for - is a fix for the slugging.

And as a response sabotage gets buffed ? - i fear that this will leed to more slugging and not less.

Dear BHVR, it would be nice if someone from your staff could tell us, what are the gameplay you want to achive from that move?

For my fears are that If anything, this will push more tunneling and slugging upon us.

Maybe you could help clarify something I missed.

(i mean no disrespect with the post, but im a worried about what this change will do to the game)

PR is still an amazing perk it stops the next gen that's going to pop after your first chase still S+++. Grim is still S+ even after the nerfs. Pop is mediocre besides on a few killers, but eruption is still good and better now. Deadlock wasn't that insane, but I'm not a fan of its design especially in solo queue since you can't coordinate counterplay.

Not to mention the fact weaker regression means relatively stronger slugging, as their powers are intact

If you watch literally any tournament, Pain Res is used with tunnelling to completely stop gens after one person is dead. Virtually all regression perks do, but most you can pull the killer away via chase. Not so with Pain Res. It's easy, works across the map, and barring terrible RNG, even stronger with fewer people. If you want it to actually encourage not tunnelling, you need to disable it when someone dies.

A perk that lightly encourages not tunnelling but MASSIVELY rewards tunneling does not actually encourage not tunnelling.
