The Nastromo map bugs me as an Alien fan

Its not a bad map and I get that it’s full of references but only a few things bother me as a fan

They didn’t leave kanes body on the table great reference though

The biggest one for me is that the Nastromo never crashed it exploded in space so there should be no wreckage at all they could still have the ship but it could have been in space and even blown up after the endgame collapes

It's because it's in the entities realm not where it was in the movie/comics. I also don't think they wanted to do another indoor only map.

Lore answer: Because all realms/maps are based on character's memories of places, which in turn is manifested in the realm by The Entity itself to the best of it's ability to interpret it, however it isn't capable of completely understanding it fully, so the result doesn't always come out accurately compared to what it's actually supposed to look like. What you see isn't the actual Nostromo itself, but the Entity's recreational attempt of the ship on a recreational attempt of LV-426.

Game answer: The chapter itself focuses almost exclusively on the first movie, all from lore, Xeno's add-ons, the chapter's banner, character base cosmetics and perks. So the Nostromo is going to be the pick for the map since it's the movie's main settings. Problem is however that having Nostromo as an indoor map wouldn't make for a good map due to how narrow and relatively small the ship's size is in terms of DBD maps, so instead they opted for a mix between outdoor and indoor as the final result.
