I really like the idea of the portals but I feel like they interrupt the flow of chases a bit too much. You are locked in your POV as killer when you go through them so you can't look around to see where the survivor is going when you follow them through.

My suggestion: Make them more like the portals in the game portal. Instead of teleporting you with an interaction, you would just walk through them. You could even make them all two way and let the other side be seen through the gates. Imagine a huntress shot through a portal, or a deathslinger spear, etc.
