A question about "SoloQ"

  • last night's match with my friends "SWF"

Killer: Pinhead with "iridescent lament configuration" (I don't remember other addon). Perk: thrill off the hunt - devour hope - pentimento - face the darkness

We are the classic "SWF" who plays in a relaxed and casual way... while we play we talk about other things (personal life, politics, sex, or just joking) and not about things related to the game, occasionally we give some basic game information (the killer is here! - killer is the Trapper! - I'm going to save from the hook…). It took us a couple of minutes of this match to understand that if we wanted to have a chance of winning, we had to use communications like pro-gamers do🤣

"I clean the totem! - I save from the hook - I'm looking for the cube (it was really difficult to find it) - I work Gen at the shack -I'm distracting the killer, complete the gen at main building!… etc etc"

It was an exciting match and we all had a lot of fun, all 4 of us survived (in our "SWF" it is not a problem if you die or survive).

but at the end of the match we all said... what would have happened if we hadn't been in communication? what would have happened if this exact same game had been played by a "SoloQ"? I just think everyone would have died.

when Devs think about some Killers/strategies/perks... they ask themselves the question "will this be fair to face in soloq?". this match was a lot of fun in SWF, but I'm sure it will be a nightmare in solo q, even for expert players.

EDIT: sorry for my english, it's not my native language
