Game freezing

I was starting a match as The Lich in the map of The Game when all of the sudden the game froze, I went into task manager to see if dead by daylight was responding but it said it was "not responding". Though I'm not sure why this happened. Still I wanted to report just in case it can help to solve any bugs. Also, I restarted my PC thinking this would fix the problem but I'm not sure if I got a DC penalty for it. I didn't intend to disconnect from the game but then the bug happened.
