Why am I getting hit around every corner like this. There’s almost no counterplay

    Two reasons

    1. Hitbox

    The survivor running hitbox lags very far behind a survivor, its basically where your back leg is while running so while your front half may have rounded a corner your leg back there is still far back enough to get hit by the saw

    2. Latency

    The game just isn't 1:1 almost no online games are except ones where you literally take turns like chess. They can only receive info from your machine send it to the server, have the server interpret it, send it back to your machine, and display it so fast. Killer gets priority in this process unless they are way too laggy, just the way it is, if you have 60 ping and the killer has 60 ping (both are pretty average) your are lagging behind 0.12s on the killers screen compared to your screen which is a big enough window to make things look like they shouldn't hit.

    Combine both and hits that look like they shouldn't happen, happen.
