DBD performance issue

Im playing on window 11, a laptop with core i7 9750h, 16gb ram and gtx 1650

My base cpu clock is 2.6ghz, can boost upto 4.5ghz if needed. But whenever I open DBD, my cpu runs with extremely low speed (1.1-1.4ghz), and constantly crash the game or at least create many rubberbanding. It may happen due the new UE5 or lack of optimization.

My pc smoothly back to normal when i close dbd. This issue doesnt happen with other programs.

This seems to be a technical issue, if you still require assistance you can ask other forum users in the Ask the Community section ( https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/categories/ask-a-question) since we do not offer technical support on this platform.

Wow your GPU is showing its 86 Celcius in temp, i would bet that maybe the CPU is throttling in speed due to temp also. If you are technically able i would recommend cleaning your laptop fans and maybe redoing your thermal paste to get those temps down some and see if that helps.

Other things you could try is make sure under battery your laptop is set to "High Performance", You could also try unplugging the power cable and reinserting it for a moment (I have seen this weird bug with intel CPU's limiting clock speed and a power reset worked)

Does fullscreen mode result in the same low cpu clock?
