Cross play Twisted Masquerade

Everytime my friend (xbox one and/or ps5) and myself (switch) try to play twisted Masquerade event together it will not load us into a lobby together only one of us gets in and the other is stuck with "match found" on their screen and has to completely close the game and re open it just ro get unfrozen.
