Auto hook hooking a different survivor after pallet save and bugging the one that was picked up

The Jake was never hooked and died immediately across the map from the interaction. He carried the sable until egc ran out. It cost the team a winning match.
Clown said in end game that it was after a pallet save. I'm seeing multiple posts on this. Is anything being done?
