Xbox - Invocation: Weaving Spiders didn't apply to generators

Hello, I was playing with my friend and he used Invocation: Weaving Spiders as Vittorio. He also had Stakeout, Hyperfocus, and Scavenger alongside Invocation. The map was Autohaven Wreckers.
I'm aware that invocation won't apply to certain generators, however the killer was only using agitation and corrupt intervention, and we did 4 gens, none of which had invocation applied to it.
I unfortunately don't have any images of this, but this happened two games in a row, where another survivor I wasn't playing with used invocation and it didn't apply to any generators except for one, and the killer had no generator slowdown perks.
I thought this should be reported because it sucks being broken for no reason. Thank you!
