How to fix the gen speed issue.

Here would be my suggestion on how to be finally done with this constant issue of gen speeds.
I think its agreed that there isn't much fun about bringing these perks as they are realy boring for both sides. Especially considering it also can take up addon slots for gen rushing. These could be space for far more interesting and fun builds. Plus it's not fun when games end in 3 minutes.
My suggestion is to completely rework all the gen related addons and perks. This would be a large undertaking but I think it would help balance out the game and make it far more intersting. Those perks / addons can be re-worked to do far more intersting things than "Gen go fast" or "Gen looses X progress." In addition, gens would go only so fast (outside of multiple people working on it which would still scale acordingly), and gen kicking would need to be similarly adjusted.
Gens will be far easier to control and balance since there is no other way to influence their speed besides actually working on them or kicking them. BHVR can more easily adjust how long they want games to go and average around. These changes would also finally help out with killer balance so that many can stop being completely worthless since they dont have the mobility of a blight.
This can also lead to more interative chases with survivors. Encouraging them to go for saves more, flashlights, sabos or maybe even new ways to try and slow down the killer.
Please let me know what you think.

Yeah, there is no way this would end well.
BHVR is not really known for their great balancing. Quite the opposite.

It would be far easier for them to balance that than a bunch of perks and addons.

You think they are going to balance those new perks and add-ons?
Also new item?
And basekit speed where they need to take into account SWF vs SoloQ and Nurse vs Trapper.
There is no way they would manage such a change, that patch would be massive and completely throw current balance out of the window.
