My dbd SM iteration
instead of 6 drones, SM now only has 4, albeit with much bigger range, SM can no longer recall drones with radar, she has to physically go get it.
Once a survivor is detected, the drone enters scouting mode. As usual. Alternatively, once survivor gets 3 stacks on lock on meter (when the drone scans you 3 times) it will enter zone mode
In zone mode
-SM receives normal buffs(as usual)
-surviviors will NOT lose a health state once within zone mode, instead if they leave zone modes range they will lose a health state. Instead of escaping, survivior has to loop the SM until either they get the chance to deactivate the drone by hacking it, putting it back into stealth mode, or wait until zone mode runs out and enters overheat(20-30 seconds) Which is fair considering SM has undetectable and haste while within it.
This was made to give survivors somewhat of a looping chance, as currently SM uses her drones to force a survivior to a new loop, repeat this until their zoned; which isnt fun for either sides. SM having a buff temporary at a loop the surviviors picked seems fair
-if any survivor enters a active zone, they will also lose a health state if they enter it
-If skill merchant leaves the zone, all affiliated buffs will go away
-claw traps will be given to surviviors who leave/enter the zone mode
-while in the zone; a shield like aura will surround the durrounding area that matches the current drones theme
-SM cannot place drones 16 meters within or inside each other.
-if a survivior enters the zone (they lose a health state) they can also disable the drone
this is just my opinion though, i wanted to talk more on radar and claw traps but i think their in a good spot as of now and arent a game design problem at all, though i wished the radar got a buff.
