Moth's Attempt at a Dredge Update

The Dredge Base Kit Changes

The Gloaming

  • Movement Speed whilst charging increased to 3.8 m/s (Was 3.68 m/s)
  • Activation time decreased to 0.4 seconds
  • Cooldown changed to tokens
    • Each token takes 4 seconds to recharge (1.5 seconds while in Nightfall)
    • Teleporting to the Remnant or a Locker consumes 1 token

Teleport

  • Daytime Teleport speed increased to 18 m/s (was 12 m/s)
  • Nightfall Teleport speed increased to 40 m/s (was 38 m/s)

Lockers

  • Time to exit a locked locker decreased to 2.5 seconds (was 3 seconds)
  • After exiting a Locker, the Dredge's movement speed is increased to 6.9 m/s for 2 seconds.
  • Similar to the Onryo's TVs and the Xenomorph's Tunnels, 1 unique locker will spawn within proximity to each Generator
  • Entering a locker through interaction now counts as searching the locker

The Remnant

  • While charging the Gloaming, the Dredge can press the Interact button to leave the Remnant in place
  • Leaving the Remnant in place, removes 1 charge until either the Remnant is expelled by a Survivor, recalled by the Dredge or the Dredge teleports to it
  • After being left for longer than 5 seconds, Survivors can see the aura of the Remnant when within 10 meters
  • Limited to 1 Remnant active at a time

Nightfall

  • Changed visuals to be more akin to Lights Out, making the darkness more consistent and making filters not completely counter it
  • During Nightfall, injured survivors will hear the Dredge's "breathing" sounds intermittently from a random direction
  • Dispelling the Remnant during Nightfall, reduces the duration of Nightfall by 5 seconds.

Common:

Followers Cowl: (Rework)

  • Longer plays the warning sound when the Dredge is in a locker

Uncommon:

Fallen Shingle: (Rework)

  • Increases the duration of movement speed when exiting a locker by 25%

Haddie's Callender: (Change)

  • Reduces the time to exit a Locked Locker by 0.5 seconds (was 1 second)

Malthinker's Skull:

  • Increases charge rate of Nightfall meter while a survivor is injured by 50% (was 66%)

Rare:

Destroyed Pillow: (Rework)

  • Injured Survivors can no longer see the Aura of the Remnant during Nightfall

Ottomarian Writing: (Adjustment)

  • Reduces token cooldown by 1 second when not in Nightfall

War Helmet: Rework

  • When a survivor dispels the Remnant, they scream and become Exhausted for 15 seconds.

Very Rare:

Boat Key: (Rework)

  • Lockers can now only be locked during Nightfall
  • When the exit gates are powered, all active locks are broken

Lavalier Microphone: (Tweak)

  • Consuming 3 tokens in a row causes the aura of all Survivors to be revealed to you for 3 seconds.
  • Causes all lockers within 6 meters of a survivor to open and slam shut when entering a locker through Teleportation
  • During Nightfall, exiting a locker consumes all remaining charges

Tiling Blade: (Adjustment)

  • Becoming Injured or already injured survivors suffer from Blindness, Haemorrhage and Mangled for the Duration of Nightfall.
  • These effects last for 25 seconds after Nightfall ends

Sacrificial Blade: (Rework)

  • When the Remnant is either Dispelled or Expired, window vault location within 8 meters of the Remnant are blocked for 5 seconds.
  • After teleporting to a locker or the Remnant, gain 30% increased action speed to breaking actions and vaulting for 15 seconds

Ultra Rare:

Field Recorder: (Rework)

  • Causes the Trial to start in Nightfall
  • When the last Generator is completed, Nightfall remains active permanently

Iridescent Wooden Plank: (Rework)

  • For the first 4 seconds of Nightfall, all Survivors auras are revealed to the Dredge
  • During Nightfall, for every injured survivor, the Dredge gains 1% haste
  • Reduces the Duration of Nightfall by 10 seconds

Audio Changes

  • Audible distance of the Dredge's breathing and other noises, reduced to 16m (was 24m)
  • Screams during Nightfall are now quieter for survivors
