Hi! Hope all is going well with the developer team over at Behavior Interactive. As a long term player of dbd (2018) that has been playing on PlayStation since as long as I can remember I’ve always noticed that this game has crossplay but no cross support for different input devices? It would make me happy to hear that you guys are atleast considering adding keyboard and mouse support to the game. I know that there is an option to turn off crossplay and you might have some concerns that people will turn off crossplay and then use keyboard and mouse to have an unfair advantage against other console players but you could simply make the input device deactivate when the crossplay option is turned off. Adding keyboard and mouse support to console would greatly contribute to overall gameplay as it would allow people to…

  1. Play killers to their fullest extent: This includes but is not limited to The Oni, The Blight, The Nurse, Every Ranged Killer, The Mastermind, any M1 killer to help with overall movement and mechanical ability, etc.
  2. Comfortably in the desired input device: this is a big one for me because sometimes my joints are just not working how they should be in my fingers and all that and it’s hard to play with just thumbs on sticks so it would be a big refresher to switch to a mouse to hold
  3. Overall Enjoyment for the Majority of the Playerbase: I’m not sure if it’s true but if the majority of the playerbase is console this would be a very clever business strategy with little effort that would also help sustain that percentage of the playerbase.

Please give this some thought I didn’t spend too much time writing this so my ideas/statements may not be perfectly clear and I’m willing to add if responded to.
