Chapter Concept: Under Surveillance
This chapter was inspired from a Roblox game called Flee The Facility which is basically the DBD version of Roblox.
A sanitized part of the airport, clean and shining, craving for some blood.
Landmarks
- Cargo Plane
A large cargo plane filled to the brim, it lays motionless in the snow.
This part of the airport has been completely swallowed by some sort of fleshy and pulsating organism with little to no remnants of the previous structure.

This plane is wrapped in tentacles and torn in half, there’s more flesh on its surface than snow.
Realm Offering: Battered Fedora
A green fedora belonging to someone who neglected many people.
After killing multiple innocent people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time it has gained the attention of the entity, which caused it to meet the beast in person and took it to its realm, the beast saw this as an opportunity, to kill people who cannot really escape, they're stuck in a never ending loop of trials.
Perk: Scourge Hook: FREEZE!
Take them to a slow and freezing death.
- At the start of the Trial, 4 Random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks:
- If the hook is sabotaged the saboteur will get inflicted with Exposed and Oblivious Status Effect for 10/14/18
- If a hooked survivor gets unhooked from a Scourge Hook, the unhooker will get inflicted with Broken Status Effect for 45/50/55 seconds.
- If the unhooker is healthy, the unhooked survivor will suffer from it instead for half of the time.
Perk: Hex: Hacker’s Despair
Every key pressed is one inch closer to their impending doom.
If there is at least one dull Totem remaining in the Trial Grounds, Hex: Hacker’s Despair activates on a random Totem each time a Survivor misses a Skill Check twice in a row:
- The survivor suffers from Oblivious Status Effect .
- They also suffer from 2/3/4 % Hindered Status Effect for 15 seconds whenever they cancel or finish a conspicuous action.
- Only the cursed survivor can cleanse the Hex Totem.
Perk: Unexpected
They never see it coming.
- Gain 12% Haste Status Effect for 2/3/4 seconds whenever a survivor misses a Skill Check.
The survivor who missed it will get inflicted with Oblivious Status Effect for 5/10/15 seconds.
Weapon: Enhanced Sledgehammer
Enhanced Sledgehammer is the Primary Weapon of The Beast.
This heavy duty sledgehammer is used to break through rocks and skulls.
Power: Below Zero
Press the Power button while moving to activate Below Zero.
- Expel condensation in the form of a baby blue smoke cloud for the next 6 seconds.
- The smoke stays for 18 seconds before dissipating.
- Below Zero has a 30 seconds cooldown.
Special Attack: Spites of Tundra
Press the Secondary Power button to activate Spites of Tundra.
- Frozen spikes emerge from the ground beneath the condensation and from 4 meters from its border.
- Survivors struck by spikes lose a Health Stage and get inflicted with Frostbite.
Special Affliction: Frostbite
Survivors who got struck by the Spites of Tundra or stayed in the condensation clouds for 5 seconds or more will develop Frostbite.
- The inflicted survivor will suffer from 4% Hindered Status Effect for the first 15 seconds.
- After 15 seconds they’ll get an extra 4% Hindered .
- After 120 seconds frostbite will start fading away and inflicted survivors will lose 0.5% Hindered every second until it’s gone.
- Survivors can spread frostbite to other survivors.
Special Interaction: Computers
At the start of the Trial, 2 generators will be replaced by Computers.
- Each computer holds 3 keyboards.
- Computers need -10 charges than average generators to be completed.
- Toolboxes have no effect on computers.
- Missing Skill Checks will reveal the Aura of the survivor for 20 seconds.
Tarnished Hammerhead
A head of a hammer which has been used multiple times.
- Slightly decreases the cooldown of Below Zero by 3 seconds.
Rusty Chains
These chains corroded with time due to neglect.
- Slightly increases the duration of condensation clouds by 2 seconds.
Faded Keys
Keys from a keyboard which have been punched multiple times.
- Grants +100% bonus bloodpoints for actions related to cold.
Chipped Ice Crystal
A sharp ice crystal that has fallen from a roof.
- Slightly increases the Hindered Effect of Frostbite by 1%.
Weathered Handle
A metal handle stuck in its place due to freezing temperatures.
- Moderately decreases the cooldown of Below Zero by 5 seconds.
Solid Ice Cube
A heavy and transparent cube made of ice.
- Healthy survivors inside condensation clouds for 8 seconds lose a Health Stage.
Puffy Jacket
A red puffy jacket which was colored in blood.
- Moderately increases the duration of condensation clouds by 3 seconds.
Frozen Wires
These wires don't work anymore.
- There’s now 2 extra computers replacing generators.
Heavy Chains
Heavy chain that an average adult cannot hold.
- Computers require 5 more charges to be finished.
Polished Hammerhead
A shiny metal head for a large sledgehammer.
- Skill Checks are now on a straight line instead of a circle.
Reinforced Chains
It doesn’t matter how hard it is hit, it won’t break.
- Survivors who entered the condensation clouds will spread them for the following 8 seconds.
Glacier Sample
This solid pole of ice belonged to a glacier, it’s very cold.
- The ground under condensation clouds is now slippery.
Server
A heavy server that was stolen from a server rack.
- 1 keyboard is removed from Computers.
Television Screen
A large screen which belonged to the wall of a break room.
- Computers now have the same amount of charges as generators.
Freeze Pod
How did this pod fit through the door?! It’s over 7 feet tall.
- Frostbitten survivors now trip and get stunned for 3 seconds every time they perform a rushed action.
- Killer’s Instinct is also triggered.
Exit Sign
A fading exit sign that was once bolted to the exit door
- Frostbitten survivors have their Scratch Marks even when they’re still or walking.
Bright LED Lights
These lights constantly flick between red and green.
- Frostbitten survivors suffer from Blindness and Deafened Status Effect.
Heavy Duty Valve
A heavy valve with three extruding metal poles evenly spaced.
- Frostbitten survivors' hands now stick to exit levers and can only let go of them when the exit gates are open or they get hit.
Core of the Storm
This weird fleshy object pulsates rapidly and emits a frigid smoke around it.
- The condensation clouds don't dissipate.
- Every survivor starts the Trial with frostbite.
Iridescent Gem
A diamond shaped gem with a flat and square top, its red glow accompanies the beast.
- You’re granted the ability to kill downed survivors which has developed Frostbite for a second time.
- Survivors cannot develop Frostbite from staying in condensation clouds anymore.
Jack was a growing game developer and he travelled a lot, one day he was at the airport about to take his flight until the ground started cracking and a fleshy organism came out of the gaps, Jack was panicked while the others around him were seemly oblivious, once Jack fell in the fleshy hole he found himself in a foggy forest.
Perk: Environmental Designer
You really know how the lighting reflects on the props.
- The killer’s Red Stain is 80/90/100 % larger for you.
Perk: Passing By
You’re swift and quick at the right moments.
- After being almost hit by the killer by any means gain 12% Haste Status Effect for 3 seconds.
- Passing By has the cooldown of 14/10/6 seconds.
Perk: Strict Critic
You were always looking at what others have done and probably have seen a lot of eyesore.
- Whenever you’re repairing a generator with another survivor and they miss a Skill Check your next skill check will give 1/2/4 charges to the current progress of the generator.
Flight’s Delayed
Repair the generator inside the cargo plane in Gate A and escape.
Flight’s Canceled
Repair the generator inside the passenger plane in Gate B and escape.
