Crows are not exactly reliable as is, it deserves to be like that

Maybe they could up the range, but mapwide would be too strong I think.

I mean, 48m or 64m will be functionally almost equivalent of map wide anyway

It won't be too strong, it will be stupid. Why the hell you need info about some survivor run through somewhere on another end of the map? Even if you are Blight, by the time you will get here, there will be no one.

Absolutely L post, sorry. Spies range is fine.

There is no such things as "too much information", knowing where and when is good enough even if you can't immediately reach it

Actually there is. If theres faulty or useless info, you have to sort through that with whatever other info you got going on. Even as Artist we don't particularly care about someone who disturbed a crow in the middle of nowhere, especially since we don't know why. All we know is "ok theres one atm". Atm isn't very helpful across the map middle of nowhere.

I think the only problem this perk has is the noise notification is annoying. I think it's a good perk otherwise.

Noise notification is really good with Spirit's phase-walking. Imagine if it had exposed for 10 seconds, meta perk for Spirit.

I disagree, there is such a thing as too much information. If Spies was mapwide, I'd be constantly getting notifications all over the place and I'd be able to act on very few, it would be more distracting or disorienting than helpful.

It would be very strong perk in capable hands.

This "noise" information will for example give you very precise information about which gens are being done. It would also be basically equivalent to lethal pursuer for low-mobility (most m1) killers, but it would work for whole game.

If you have decent memory, you can always know/very well deduce which generators are being worked on and which are not touched. Provided you are very good - you can even deduce how much progress the gens should have (ofc this excludes toolboxes/bnps/hyperfocus/….).

Similarly you can know if it's safe to just pick up or which direction should you face when picking up survivor.

I agree that for most people the perk would be just distracting, but in very capable hands it would provide god-like amount of information for macro plays. And the only counter to it is literally just calm spirit - a perk that actively hinders you in other occasions (with speed debuf for some actions like cleansing totems)
