Stun from a pallet that is already dropped

Recently I witnessed it several times. One ocassion was recorded by me and another one I found randomly on Youtube. Seems that pallet can stun a killer if he is approaching it from certain angle.

    I was on RPD and I think this happened on another map too, but the RPD one I was in the locker room in the very back by the wall and someone threw the pallet on the other side of the wall by the back gate and I got stunned! Something similar had happened earlier but I didn't realize how I got stunned. (Not that the pallet stun from the other side of the wall makes any sense either. I may have forgotten to clip it sadly.
