THANKS BHVR FOR LISTENING AND KILLSWITCHING TRICKSTER
What can I say....... FINALLY after ages!
But better later than never!
Soooooo many people had reported it, and considering there was the possibility that a potentially life threatening issue was actually present in the game, Trickster should have been killswitched IMMEDIATELY, just for safety.
I hope this won't repeat again.

it’s never that serious I didn’t experience any bug with trickster

There's only actually been one confirmed report of the bug according to BHVR.
Not really sure why the community is so up in arms over this.

What even was the bug? I was on a trickster play spree just yesterday and never found any visual bug

Trickster could have a visual glitch that caused strobing lights to happen. This can trigger an epileptic seizure in some people.
It absolutely was that serious.

Allegedly it's a visual bug which causes players' screens to turn pink and flicker when hit with knives. Of course this raises concerns for players with photosensitive epilepsy so people have been asking for Trickster to be killswitched.
That being said, I've searched high and low for any actual footage of the bug on YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, etc. and can't find anything that isn't months old. The developers themselves have also been unable to recreate the bug internally as per their statement on Twitter.
I won't share any footage here given that it could be triggering to someone with epilepsy, but it looks to me more like a graphics card issue than a DbD one.

There many many comments, in YouTube videos, Twitch, etc.
You don't need an absolute proof to shut down something potentially life threatening immediately.

Videogaming has always been an "at your own risk" scenario for people with photosensitive epilepsy and DbD comes with a warning saying as much.

Agreed. Like hello people. This isn’t new information.

How about a little kindness to those it actually would affect. Imagine it was your little sister or brother, would you perpetuate the whole 'it's on you' nonsense?
Personally, I would prefer they just cautiously kill switch him momentarily rather than a fellow player have a seizure.

It makes it more difficult to find the issue tho.
Would be probably fine to put some warning display if you select that killer and want to queue into the match....
I am an epileptic btw.

A sensible answer… but my point was more about a bit of kindness than just the usual 'that's your problem'.
Your point is good though, actually get those affected by such issues involved.
