Jesus H Christ, in my play station days we didnt have this kinda crap, yes give feed back, but hell we was happy getting demos from cds and yes or no if i wished to play the game, but whiners in dbd want the game perect to a t that isn't a challenge and just some easy bs. Omg how would you come in the 90s???

    The answer is "No" sadly. I think a strong reason why is how personally people take the game and how emotionally vested they are in it. By this, I don't necessarily mean being passionate about the game's wellbeing, but moreso to do with what they want for them.

    It's like football. Personally, I don't get the appeal of the game, other than a general kick about with friends. However, if I were to go into a pub with a bunch of fanatics and even dared to whisper "Guys, it's just a game", I'd be bottled and thrown out in seconds. Because to them it's personal, and basically I just spat in their lager effectively.

    Passion makes things successful, but being too passionate is what ruins it. People have always been like this (I remember the whole "Only a TRUE Silent Hill fan would..." crap from around the releases of the early games), but in this era of humanity the internet just makes them louder.
