New Chapter Concept: Bioshock

A fun little thing I have been working on for the past few weeks now. As a huge Bioshock fan, I've been dying to see a Bioshock chapter added for years now. I hope to see it happen one day.

Killer
: The Protector

Description: An Alpha series Big Daddy with a power drill equipped on his right arm, accompanied by his little sister.

Killer Power: Pair Bond

Start the trial with a Little Sister riding on your back. Five Splicer Corpses will be scattered around the map. Press the Ability Button to place your Little Sister down on any part of the map. Any survivor that enters a radius 8m of the Little Sister will cause her to scream, triggering Killer Instinct. The Little Sister can also be placed on one of the five Corpses, allowing her to drain ADAM from its body. The draining process will take 30 seconds before the Corpse is fully drained. Each Corpse can only be fully drained once per trial. Anytime a survivor enters her trigger radius during this time, she will scream, and the draining process will be paused until the survivor is downed or leaves her trigger radius. Once the draining is complete, you can pick your Little Sister back up. Each time you pick up your Little Sister after she has completely drained a Corpse, her trigger radius will increase by 6m the next time she is placed down. (Although her radius will always stay at a fixed 8m while draining any Corpse.) And the charge time for your Drill Dash will decrease.

Special Ability: Drill Dash

Press and hold the Power Button to charge up your Power Drill, then release to initiate a Drill Dash. The Protector will launch forward at an increased speed with his Drill at full throttle for a few seconds. Using a Drill Dash will initiate a short cooldown before it can be activated again. Any survivor hit by the Drill Dash will be immediately put into the Dying State. The Drill Dash can also be used to destroy pallets and breakable walls, ending the Dash afterward and putting it into a short cooldown.

Killer Perks:

A Slave Obeys

You have the power to control other’s fates.

Each time a generator is completed, any survivor working on that generator will suffer from the exposed status effect for the next 40/50/60 seconds.

“A man chooses, a slave obeys.” – Andrew Ryan

All Spliced Up

Genetic modification has granted you new abilities not thought possible.

After hooking a survivor, this perk activates.

The next time you are stunned, the stun duration is reduced by 80/90/100%. After which, this perk will deactivate until another survivor is hooked.

“First time plasmid’s a real kick from a mule.” - Atlas

Guardian

You make sure to stop any potential threats dead in their tracks.

After injuring a survivor by any means, the closest vault location to their current position will be blocked by the Entity for 20/25/30 seconds. Afterward, this perk will go on a cooldown for 60 seconds.

“That’s the Big Daddy. She gathers Adam, he keeps her safe.” – Atlas

Press the Active Ability button while standing and motionless to read an engineering book for 5 seconds. After which, your generator repair speed will increase by 6/8/10% for 60 seconds.

Bookworm has a cooldown of 180 seconds after reading the book or canceling it.

“One thing I had in that tower was time, Mr. DeWitt. Time to study things…” – Anna DeWitt

Winter Blast

After repairing generators for a total of 70/60/50% progress, Winter Blast activates.

While in chase, press the active ability button to use the Winter Blast plasmid to freeze the killer and slow them down by 20/25/30% for 5 seconds.

Winter Blast will then deactivate.

“Give your foes the cold shoulder with Winter Blast!” – Plasmid advertisement.

Songbird

Unlock your full potential and harness the power of the Tears to quickly escape a dangerous situation.

After healing other survivors for two full health states, Songbird activates.

The next time you fast vault into a locker, you will be instantly teleported to the locker located farthest away from you across the map.

Songbird will then deactivate.

“I can see all the doors. And what’s behind all the doors.” – Anna DeWitt

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!

But I would REALLY love plasmids to be incorporated into the power because that's such an important aspect of the franchise.

They could make plasmids work the way that Vecna's spellbook works!

I honestly tried to think of a way to add plasmids into the mix, but I couldn't think of a good way to make it all work. I wouldn't be against plasmids being used in the killer's power in some way though, if a Bioshock chapter ever gets made. Though I feel like with the Big Daddies, the drill and Little Sister are more iconic to them, and thus that's what I focused on the most in my concept. And that's why I at least incorporated a plasmid as a perk for Elizabeth/Anna.
