Corrupt Intervention interaction with Invocation: Weaving Spiders

I just finished a game on the Mount Ormond Resort map against The Good Guy. I performed invocation: Weaving Spiders within the first 80 seconds of the game starting. The Good Guy was running Corrupt Intervention. When later working on the gens that were previously corrupted they did not have 10 charges removed by the invocation.

I am playing on PC through Steam with Crossplay enabled.

    This is intended. Gens that are blocked are unaffected by that perk.
