How many without crossplay?
virtually all of my exper Going against console killers is miserable. I get tunneled, camped, bmed, and griefed significantly more by console killers. But I don’t want to sit in an absurd queue time.
Anyone know the avg wait time? I’m eastern US if that changes anything. But I have a vpn

The way their CrossPlay works is with it off you now only get matched up with others on your particular platform that also have it set to off.
So say you're on Steam. If you turn it off, not only are you isolated from all consoles but also all on Epic and Windows too, as well as all on Steam who have CrossPlay still on.
You'd be pulling from a small pool of players indeed.

How exactly do you know you're against console, barring twitch streamers? All a globe icon means is cross platform, which could mean they play on Epic
Us consoles make this same mistake, by assuming all globes are sweaty tryhard PC players abusing DPI when it's actually just a ps4 gamer

from my experience, console killers BM the most lol and get really toxic if they win the match

I don't really see the difference between PC and console.

Funny… My experience is quite the opposite

I don't really see a reason to turn off crossplay but I admit as harsh as this sounds I would prefer not playing against Epic Games accounts. That's the only reason I'd personally turn off crossplay.
Not because "Epic is icky" but because every cheating account I've encountered that's cheating is just an EG account from when DBD was made free.
But hey if statistics show that somehow EG isn't where most cheaters are playing from their accounts I would love to be corrected. It's cool playing with console players I don't mind as someone who plays from Steam.
As for BM honestly it's all the same - console, pc it doesn't matter. Some people BM and some don't. Let's not blame a side because it's just hiding actual issues with the game or behaviorisms people have. Also yes I understand what I said above sounds like I'm blaming a side but ultimately I just don't want to play against cheaters but all of the ones I've played against have been epic accounts (That weren't using anon mode).

Turning crossplay off will pretty much always massively increase your wait time, even during peak times. It's pretty much never worth it.

I was never a fan of crossplay being forced upon us. You don't want to play with console players, well the feeling is mutual. I don't want to play with PC players. I tried turning crossplay off but the queue times were insane. Like virtually unplayable. They might as well just delete the option to turn crossplay off at this point.
