How is everyone's summer going?
I hope everyone is having an awesome summer, to be completely honest I can't believe it's July already, time is really flying by for me at least, but I'd love to share some recent events that happened to me!
I earned my Associates degree in June, I've been studying to become a Doctor, I was originally going to be doing Computer Science related stuff, but realized that it was a lot less appealing to me, I was always good with things like Biology, and Chemistry. I managed to leave that course and now I'm working for my Doctorate's degree!
It's going to be an incredible journey, I'm entering my third year now, getting closer everyday to my next degree (Masters), and I'm excited for the challenges that I'll deal with, and the new things I'll learn. Once school starts again, things will only get more tough, but I know I will be prepared, which also means I won't be as active as I am now on the forums or the game, so I'm being as active as I can now!
What will I do during the summer? I have a Disney trip planned in late August with my siblings and parents, we actually haven't been to Disney together in years, so this will an amazing experience to share together again!
How is your summer going everyone, please share I'd love to read about how everything is going for you! ❤️

It's a pretty mixed bag
I've talked about this on this forum before but I have a chronic pain condition thingy. It always limits a lot of what I can do just because so much stuff aggravates it and makes it hurt. However…
I am hopeful with the new treatment I'm getting done. I've been getting Botox Shots for about 3 years now for the pain, which I just got at the beginning of the month. Generally they take 2-3 weeks to really kick in so I'm just about getting into that zone, which is when I feel the best. Unfortunately the shots have been really hit and miss as they give me great relief but they don't last. However (again)…
I started a treatment called Dry Needling with the Physical Therapist. It hurts. A LOT 😅. BUT I actively feel looser after the treatment. The Botox shots always seem to get me to like….90% healthy before they start wearing off so I'm hoping that by combining the two, I might have a shot at completely breaking this issue. One year I had the Botox shots last almost the entire year pain free and my ongoing theory is that the muscles never get to 100% good (so it's just a matter of when, not if the pain comes back) but that year for whatever reason the muscles got to 100% and it stayed that way until I re-aggravated it).
I'm trying to make sure I still stay realistic because I have a bad habit of getting my hopes up really high when the Botox works but then I get really low when it inevitably comes back but this feels really promising to me.
