Maps and personal preference

Is there any map you just don't do well on even if it's good for your preferred role/ specific killer. I can't explain it but no matter what killer I play I usually do poorly on the yamaoka estate. I understand the map I've practiced it but unless I outmatch the survivors completely I lose. I don't think it's even survivor sided but I just lose on it.

Badham preschool, I mean they call it the house of pain for a reason, and don't even get me started on main building when the basement doesn't spawn there and you get bad hook spawns

Autohaven maps are considered great for Huntress but for some reason I can’t stop getting cooked on Bloodlodge. Every other Autohaven map I do good on except for Bloodlodge and I have no clue why.

There’s something about Macmillan maps I don’t seem to understand. I don’t do very well on them whether as Killer or Survivor.
