PLEASE return the ability to swap Killers and Survivors when pressing the Joysticks on consoles!
It's SO janky to have to go to the top side of the screen and pick them through the portraits instead of just pressing the Joysticks (L3 and R3 on PS, for example) like we used to. If I want to go from Unknown to Vecna now I have to go through a sub-menu instead of just pressing a single joystick to change to the killers that's literally next in line.
The fact that one has to move the cursor to pick options in the menu screens is bothersome enough for non-PC users with no Mouse, now we have to do that for the character we want to choose as well.
Please consider reverting that change.

i play on both console and PC (PC primary, but console my oldest account from PS plus) - anyway, i agree. i understand the need to improve and update the menus but this patch seems like no one considered console players at all.
there's other shortcut taps missing too - like to pull up the daily. it's very, very difficult navigating this game w/ the on screen cursor on console. however, there used to be easier ways to get around that made it not too annoying.

i would also like to add, BHVR needs to consider than many console players do not play sitting at a desk - but, instead, on the couch/across from the TV. the changes to many in game menus/text, which are now smaller, are very hard to read.
specifically the end game screen. obviously, we have no custom icons on consoles - and i have been playing this for 3 years yet i keep having to get up and move closer to the screen to see what perks and add ons/items are on the end game screen. it's so damn small.

BHVR keeps removing hotkeys when they should be adding more. Hotkeys are important for console players. BHVR's consideration for console players and what we need is abysmal. Just because PC players don't need it doesn't mean other players don't.

absolutely. it's nuts. i put a longer comment on the UI on another post but it's gone…i think bcuz my email is not confirmed (which can't happen cuz ya girl's dumb ass spelled their email wrong…….)
anyway, the fact we have to now use the cursor for even more things and in sub menus is an abhorrent design choice and i am starting to wonder if they let their console UI person(s) go….

so, quick update! apparently the hot key shortcuts to the dailies, friends list, and settings still work - they just, inexplicibly, removed the on-screen labels for console. very odd and i'm assuming an oversight.
unfortunately, this does not apply to switching characters. :( that functionality has just been removed.
