Can current gen consoles Series X and PS5 get a 120 fps update?

now that there are TV's out there that support 144hz for current gen consoles I think it is time to add a graphical option to current gen consoles Xbox series X and PS5 a 120 FPS mode. it shouldn't be limited to 60fps especially the game now is 8 years old. not to hard to achieve a 120 mode i think for current gen consoles as long as they have a tv or monitor that supports it.

They couldn't get the prior gen machines to a steady 60, not because of the capabilities of those consoles or the TV's and monitors out there, but because of resource bottlenecking within the fundamental coding of the game.

I wouldn't get my hopes up here. Underneath the UE5 upgrade and past the C++ lies the bare bones of the Blueprints the game has always been built on.
