I know this would be a huge undertaking, but it needs to be addressed.
BHVR, you need to remake the game. I say remake because I imagine DBD2 youd need to renegotiate all the licences again.
This spaget code is getting insane. Things are breaking in insane ways now. Even a health chapter wouldnt help at this point.
It would be a huge job, but in the long run it would be worth it. I get little bugs, but how do we end up with things like 2 gens being done at once….
An addon on one killer gets adjusted, and it breaks something completely different. The way everything is connected is so odd.

This had been the case from the beginning years and years ago. It was way worse then, back then there were no kill switches and you had to deal with bug exploits.

If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure anyone with good experience in programming would say that this wouldn't solve the issue

Yes it would. The game started with 4 killers. It was never intended from the start to become this big. Its been stacked ontop of stuff so much its ridiculous.
I read that ( not sure if it still does ) all powers used to get loaded into a match, not just the killer that was playing. Which is how bugs like chainsaw myers happens.
Its getting real bad now. Like something wont be touched, yet it breaks.

You can't make everything not be connected. That's not how software works.
The term spaghetti code has nothing to do with how well a program works, either. It's literally just how readable it is to another developer.
