Custom games with disabled AI

I play DBD on Xbox but have a Steam account, from when my PC couldn't really play the game but I accumulated all the free BP offering codes :)
I upgraded my PC since and have been using it as a way to play custom matches with myself - Pick a killer on Steam, connect in on the Xbox as survivor and run around the maps practicing those tricky fast vaults, learning the new maps etc. I just leave the killer in a corner out of the way :)
I probably want to cross-progression link my Steam and Xbox accounts, and assume I'll no longer be able to do this.
So long story short, a method to be able to play a custom match on one device, and set the killer AI to 'off' would be nice to have :)
A niche suggestion for sure, but if you don't ask…
