I can't login to my old Xbox account to Sync

Am I just out of luck?

I first played DBD on Xbox in 2017. I had quite a high prestige, but I ended up losing my old Xbox while moving countries.

I thought with cross progression I would be able to get all that progress back, but it's asking for me to login to the game on Xbox. I don't own an Xbox anymore, so is there just nothing I can do? Neither my Playstation or PC accounts had as high prestige as my Xbox did, but I can't get access to it...

Unfortunately you would need to launch the game on Xbox in order for your progress to be synced.

You can access DBD on PC Microsoft game pass cloud with your Xbox account & play with your Xbox characters and stuff you bought (if you still have it). Not sure if it will work that way though, but worth a shot.

Okay, so I tried just continuing past that page to see if it would do anything, and funnily enough, it seems to have worked?

I logged onto my playstation to start everything. I have not logged onto my PC or Xbox, since my PC is storage. But it seems like all my DLC and prestige has carried over, including my killer prestige from Xbox!

I can't confirm everything is here of course, since I no longer have an Xbox. But this is still pretty great.

I feel ya... I'm re-accessing my steam account now with a laptop that is def now ment for gaming, lol. Just hop booting up the main menu doesn't crash it.
