players need their sound up for everything else -but th frign screams are so disproportionate its insane. check reddit—-theres a mountain of ppl who all feel the same

I wish we had the option to lower the volume for sure. Its very loud especially when you are really just trying to listen in your game enviroment and than someone like Yui or Nancy gets hooked dear god

Survivors are such a drama queens these days...

Just a hook through shoulder and they scream, so you can still hear them in next game.

I thought Claire and Leon made your ears bleed, but Lara is here to take the 1st place for being the loudest, jfc. I've made so many feedback suggestion posts regarding the horrendous audio levels of this game. But atp I genuinely think that the devs want people to get tinitus or they're all hard of hearing and don't realise how gd loud their game is.

Just hit the survivor on hook or tab out if you can. I know most see it as BM-ing to hit on hook, but I rather explain myself in egc than get deaf.

If you're on PC you can alt tab the game to change focus for a split second then go back. It mutes the scream on hook audio. Been doing it for years myself since it's too dam loud for me.

It's part of the reason I run calm spirit. Call me a baby, I dislike the screaming and the pain sounds. Calm Spirit and Iron Will. Hate that I gotta use two perks for that, but whatever, I've gotten value from them more than unbreakable.

lmao i can appreciate some good ol sarcasm

    i get it buddy

    BUT

im not asking for the screams to be removed. its a simple request for an OPTION to adjust/isolate the volume for that dynamic. its not like it would convey any sort of advantage nor anything that could detract from other players experience.

perhaps theres some who feel that the screams may act as a form of auditory cover that conveys some advantage to nearby survivors, and even so - id be happy to accept a reduction in ALL sound for the duration the of the hook screams — look at all th ppl willing to tab out during….

im uncertain what ur advocating exactly, but i appreciate the humor.

i just wana be able to listen at an immersive sound level while not losing my hearing from a sound that ultimately adds little to the experience as a whole.

@those who mentioned the windows key/tab out option and/or a silencing m1—-thank you for the tips - im grateful for the constructive feedback

It's not only the survivor's screams though. The bloodweb is loud as are some of the killers in the lobby 😔 With every level-up I tab out, so I don't have to hear it for x amount of levels being way too loud for no reason.
