For Nintendo Switch User - Cross Progression Question

Good day. Appreciate the work that BHVR has done to make this cross progression happen. Although in doing so Nintendo Switch users are left in the dust. My question is will there be ANY EFFORT on BHVR to remedy this situation with the DBD Nintendo Switch base? If so, i don't mind waiting. If not , is BHVR considering some sort of remedy for those who want to switch from the Nintendo switch to a different platform? Reason im asking is because this case reminds of the time when Nightmare and Leatherface were not an option on the Switch till some time has passed. I am asking because i have purchased a near if not over $100 dollars of 3rd party content for DBD. Thank you for your time.

Hi, as a fellow Nintendo Switch user - I know there have been many of us affected by this in various ways and degrees. I think because of the complex arrangements of contracts (and it would appear the biggest blocker here is Nintendo themselves) it is not an easy one to navigate.

I think BHVR probably won’t be able to give a definitive response but perhaps like you mentioned with leather face etc, over time, this may change and we may retroactively receive these or alternative bonus.

Where is this information of Nintendo being the issue coming from? I don't doubt it, just curious. Maybe i need to see the showcase again?

It’s more the fact that all other platforms other than Nintendo Switch have allowed full crossover of all items monetary and dlc. The graphic below illustrates this:

This would imply it is Nintendo themselves as the main blocker. It is not likely that the public will be privy to the inner terms and conditions but it is probably safe to surmise that Nintendo are being unreasonable here.

That is not to say that I think there is no solution - either with time, either through alternative (reasonable and equivalent) bonus shards or cells etc for switch users can assuage the feelings of unfairness and disparity.

The problem for switch player base is we’re small and we don’t have a strong enough influence on the ‘surface’. But I would like to think BHVR can see our feelings and show the ultimate goodwill - and hopefully soon.
