I've finally managed to lose killer games in 2vs8.
And to do it, instead of playing with a random killer, I've played with a friend who has never played killer and hasn't played DbD since the Trickster was released.
After we lost a few games (but still had a lot of fun) he stopped and I went back to solo-Q and resumed winning games with 7 or 8 kills.
This to say: if you struggle winning 2vs8 as killer, maybe at least one of the killers lacks experience.
This wouldn't be surprising as "everyone" wants to play this mode.

It’s mainly survivors goofing around being the reason they lost. I win 7 matches in a row all 6-8 man outs, lost one game where only two of us got out thru hatch and then won 3 or 4 more in a row 5-8 man outs. All of the killers were in the thousands of hours range. Except a few I couldn’t check. It’s really much easier to win in 2V8 vs 1v4 imo.

it’s not.

I never thought about it like that😨 Thanks for the insight!

I mean, killer lacks strongest thing (slowdown) they had in 1v4, meanwhile survivors are getting ridiculous things like wallhack, team wide SB, "free" unbreakable and selfcare, basically immune to tunneling, there is no way it's harder for survivors than 1v4 except the fact we are in free weekend

You are not wrong. I've switched to survivor and if I escape about 2/3 of the matches, most of the ones I die is because about half the team is … how shall I put it … not exactly stellar.
As in …
- Missing skill checks
- Not healing after rescuing
- Never taking a protection hit
…
Whereas all the games I've survived the players had at least the basics right.
But on another hand, I've won every killer match where both killers were at least decent and lost every killer match where one killer was a beginner. We are far from the about 66/33% of my survivor experience.
I've versed all killers now and the most terrifying one is Huntress IMHO. Trapper is pretty dangerous too.
I've loved the killer team work btw. Getting downed by a running Billy who intercepted me at the end of my hit-sprint was beautiful.
There were several Nurse but none experienced enough to get me. (As a Nurse main, I tend to know how to break a chase)

So, if I'm ready this correctly, if balance is represented as a neutral smell, roses represent a skilled killer and a bag of farts represents an unskilled killer, combining the roses with a bag of farts results in a balanced match?

If by unskilled you mean newbie level, I'd say no. Anything with a newbie is a loss.

Pretty much the exact same from my experience. I haven’t lost yet as killer though even with a very bad duo. I have an insane amount of hours on Huntress and she definitely cooks in this mode so I can hard carry most of the time. I did have a tie twice though because two of my killers were AFK.

That's pretty good. When grouping with a beginner (a friend) we've never managed to get more than 3 kills.
