The state of Hillbilly in 2v8

Hi, so I am a Hillbilly main and I have been ever since 2017 and I have played all his iterations from his first state to the overheat era and now the overdrive era. I also have him at P100 and play him most days after work.

I would just like to say that overall 2v8 is an amazing fun game mode with some minor tweaks that could be needed and the big queue times but those are little nitpicks at the moment. Again it is an overall success and I don't have many complaints besides the state of Hillbilly in the game mode and how horrible he feels to play.

So when it comes to his current state in 2v8 he is only feels good when you are playing with a friend with communication on another application like Discord. As you can reliably apply his Expose team ability and coordinate with your team member. Now how he feels is just horrible to play with not being able to insta down most of the charm of the character has really just gone as curving doesn't seem rewarding to go for anyone and you are just basically a basic attack character and you really don't feel like you have a power. There were many times through game that I just wanted to stop playing at all as I felt more of an inconvenience to my teammate rather than a help. And survivors don't see him as much of a threat to the point there were other survivors taking Chainsaw hits to stop downs from happening. Ironically what is his strongest and possibly not balanced part of his kit in 2v8 is him giving exposed to survivors to help his teammates.

I don't enjoy playing to the point I am not longer to play Hillbilly in this state in the 2v8 game mode and only play him in the regular 1v4 mode. It feels that I must make no mistakes and try my absolute hardest to preform ok at best also needing to get two chainsaw hits to get a single down just feels absolutely horrible.

What I would recommend is that Hillbilly gets his insta down ability back in 2v8 and change his team power of applying exposed as that is what is surprisingly strong with a good teammate and is not fun to face as a survivor. I hope that the team decides to return hillbilly back into a character that is fun to play again and verse.
