Will we see the christmas event getting a new gameplay change?

I know in the event we have snowmen and snowballs but they are really underwhelming compared to the big gameplay changes all the other events have. After the snowmen got nerfed the event just felt really boring. HIding and throwing snowballs got old so fast it felt like no one was using them. The halloween event got a really fun gameplay change with the voids, and the anniversary event with party powers. We also just got 2v8 which has been the best event in a while. I hope this year you guys can cook something up with the christmas event because it feels like that event is so uninteresting than the others. It is also the worst event to earn Blood points as both sides.
