5 v 5? (Killer + 4 v Killer + 4)

Not sure if it will be doable but how about a 5 v 5?

Killers on each team will be required to kill the 4 survivors on the other team? Maybe even have it so killers can also leave exit gate as a fun and unique element

It could work with 2v8 setup.
You can use all changes in 2v8 and make it work with it imo.

Basically split gens into two groups (you can work only on your own gen) and team who either kills whole group or finish all gens first wins.

You would need to do some changes basically so survivors can snitch on other survivors to their killer somehow…
Probably display killer aura to their survivors too, so survivor can go for bodyblocking :D

I would like to see it and I don't think it's so difficult with tools we have now.

Yes the 2 v 8 made me think it definitely has practical potential!

I’m sure it will need refinement and tinkering etc but your suggestions all sound great! And for once, it may give the killer and survivor player base an opportunity to play together and hopefully minimise some of the ‘us v them’ as both side will truly be equal!

It has always been my opinion that 5v5 would be a much better mode than 2v8. Since it would essentially be 2 games happening at once, it wouldn't have to balance a whole new system for the most part, or deal with many of the issues that plague 2v8 atm. It could be competitive but also fun for both sides. 2v8 is somewhat boring due to lack of survivor gameplay, diversity of killers, and queue times. With 5v5 they could keep perks and traditional gameplay the same assuming it doesn't become a buggy mess that requires classes.

Shoutout to VIP mode which if done correctly would also be an incredibly fun mode.
