What happens if Switch cross-progression players buy the rift?

My original account is on Nintendo Switch but I'm playing on PS4 (PS5 starting tomorrow).

I still have over 3,000 auric cells on Switch which I have to spend on Switch.

So, what do you think would happen if I bought the rift pass on Switch? I'm currently level 33 and plenty more auric cells to unlock in the rift.

If I'm playing on Playstation, would the Playstation account earn those auric cells or would those be allocated to my Switch?

Hopefully a Dev or Mod would know?

    Thanks for asking this question! If you purchase the Rift on one platform, you should be able to claim the rewards (including Auric Cells from the Rift) on another. Only DLCs and the cells themselves do not cross over. I hope this answers your question!

    Since I have an odd amount of AC on Switch and zero on PS, I plan to use DbD Switch exclusively for shopping with AC.

    In other words, I plan to make my future AC purchases on Switch so that there is a single AC balance and then use the characters and cosmetics that I purchase on my Switch on my PS5.

    So, for the rift, I will refrain from buying the rift pass until I've reached level 85 of the Rift. I will then log in to my Switch, buy the rift which will pay for itself and keep my AC all together.

    Does this make sense?

    Correct.

    My last purchased DLC from the eshop was Dungeons & Dragons which I had to repurchase on PS.

    But with Lara Croft, I bought her with AC in the DBD in-game store on Switch and she transferred perfectly!

    I also bought her Autumn cosmetic this morning on Switch and I'm wearing it on PS4 now.
